This is the video that keeps playing through my head each day as I walk on the Camino for my charity:water campaign. My walk is nothing compared to this. My pack is half the weight, ergonomically designed to be comfortable, there’s a shower waiting for me at the end of the day, …and I’m not 12. 💔

# Cafe con Leche: 12
# Days I had to run into the bushes to pee: 3
# Animals fed: 36
# Items lost: 2
# items jettisoned intentionally: 4
# non-food items purchased: 2 (both were knee braces)
# items gifted to me from the albergue lost & found: 1
Charity:Water Campaign Totals, thus far:
# contributions, total: 15
# of our neighbors who will be given clean water for life: 73
Some of these items are just for fun. But that last section is the most important. That’s the number of lives changed forever.
