30-Days Out

Play List

Last trip’s play list was quite comprehensive as I was loading my phone’s music app from scratch. https://morelaterfromelsewhere.com/2018/04/30/30-days-out/ This play list is still my go-to for everything from walks in the woods… to cleaning the flat.

Since last trip, the additional music that I’ve grabbed onto enough to add to my phone have been meaningful for a variety of reasons.

Individual Songs:

·       Josh Groban – “Granted” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9FA9U4s3Tg

·       Queen – “Hammer to Fall”

· Warren Zevon – “Lawyers, Guns, and Money”

Complete Albums:

·       Allie Sherlock – A Part of Me

·       Bruce Springsteen – Letter to You

·       Bruce Springsteen – Chapter & Verse

·       Bruce Springsteen – Tunnel of Love

· James Taylor – Essential James Taylor

· Martyn Joseph – Tires Rushing by in the Rain

Looking at this little list now, I’m reminded of the personal transformation that has taken place in my own life in the last three years.  It seems like it’s been longer than that, as so much has happened and there have been so many steps in my personal journey along the way.  But, like before, it’s music that, for me, helps to mark milestones.

I’m also reminded, looking at this list, how grateful I am of the people along the way who have willingly chosen to walk with me, even if from a distance, and have cared enough to share their favorite music – which is now some of my favorite music as well.  That connection is, to me, priceless.

If you have any music you’ve always thought was destined to be the soundtrack for a Camino – please, let me know!  Happy to download additional gems.  😉
