I’ve combed through blogs and watched vlogs and this is what I’ve come up with for a pack list:

- Sarong (used as skirt, towel, sheet, scarf, & a shawl for church visits)

Toiletries:

Sundry:
- Sunglasses
- Reading glasses
- Ear plugs (for dealing with snoring fellow-pilgrims)
- Small loo roll & waste bags
- Method dish soap (for dishes & clothes)
- A couple Tide pods

- Clothes pins
- Diaper pins (to hold clothes on line if it’s windy)
- 3 water bottles*, tin cup, & spork
- Water purification tablets (if water source is questionable)
- Wet wipes
- Quick-dry towel

- Small pack torch

- Travel-safe wedding ring
- Passport & drivers license
- Insurance card
- A few euros & bank card
No need to pack a tent or cooking supplies as pilgrim hostels, B&Bs, and cafes are plentiful. And, anything I’ve forgotten can be picked up in the many small towns along the way.
* will fill all 3 when crossing the desert and this will be my heaviest item.
